PHP 4, PHP 5 and PHP 7 Support in Shared Hosting
We have made a conscious decision not to prevent our present and future clients from selecting the PHP version that their sites will use, so in case you get a shared hosting plan from us, you’ll be able to select between versions 4, 5 and 7, not only for the hosting account in general, but also for each single domain that you host. This can be done with only one mouse click through our custom Hepsia Control Panel via which all shared web hosting accounts are managed, which is why you won’t need to have any coding or technical skills. You’ll be able to run sites based on both old and new scripts without having to deal with any complications, so if you’d like to abandon your current hosting services provider and migrate over to us, you can be certain that all the sites that you have set up over the years will continue to run perfectly.
PHP 4, PHP 5 and PHP 7 Support in Semi-dedicated Hosting
Even if your websites were built with an older PHP version, you will be able to host them in a semi-dedicated server account from us, since we support multiple versions running simultaneously on our servers and each one of them can be activated for your account with no more than a click of the mouse via our in-house created Hepsia Control Panel. In addition to the latest PHP 7, we also offer support for 5.3, 5.2 and the older PHP 4, which has already been dropped by the great majority of hosting companies, but we strongly maintain that you shouldn’t be forced to modify a site that took years to develop, since older script language syntax doesn’t invariably equal safety weaknesses. On the contrary, a well-maintained site using PHP 4 can be more secure than a mismaintained one using PHP 5. For your convenience’s sake, we’ll also give you the possibility to pick a different version of PHP for each website within the account.
